Historical Elegance in Restored Interiors
A masterful blend of historical heritage and contemporary luxury. For this restoration project, we utilized monotype-inspired designs from the mid-1960s, including “Wnętrza” and “Taniec Weselny”. These patterns, rooted in the legacy of Franciszek Michałek, bring a sophisticated, nostalgic soul to a freshly modernized architectural context.

The Art of Living: Private Residence with a Graphic Soul
This private residence features two contrasting designs from the Abstractions II collection: ‘Masks’ and ‘Walking People’. Both patterns, rooted in mid-century artistic traditions, serve as the interior’s primary aesthetic focus. While ‘Masks’ adds a bold, theatrical character to the living area, ‘Walking People’ introduces a rhythmic energy to the transition spaces. Together, they demonstrate how wallpaper can transcend simple decoration to become a central element of the home’s architectural identity.

Mountain Retreat: Nature-Inspired Design in the Beskids
Chata Patykowo is a sanctuary designed for nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts. The owners chose to keep the property unfenced, preserving an open space that harmonizes seamlessly with the surrounding Beskid landscape.
The attic bedroom is defined by the vibrant “Purchawkowy Las” (Lycoperdon Forest) wallpaper, inspired by previously unreleased sketches and designs by Franciszek Michałek. This artistic element is a true tribute to connoisseurs of Polish design heritage. On the same floor, a charming bathroom tucked under the eaves features the unique green patterns of our “Borówkowy Sad” (Blueberry Orchard) wallpaper, creating a cohesive, forest-inspired aesthetic throughout the upper level.

Linear Harmony: Art Meets Modernity at Global D
In this exceptionally original office interior, the architects from Grupa Żoliborz selected two of our signature designs: ‘Kurotwarz’ (Hen-Faced) and ‘Most we Mgle’ (Bridge in the Fog). Both patterns were developed from original sketches by Franciszek Michałek, dating back to the early 1960s, a period when the artist was preparing for his first solo exhibition.
The monochrome palette of the wall decorations creates a sophisticated contrast with the bold pink accents within the space. Every detail is intentional: the delicate, linear forms of the pendant lighting mirror the fine artistic strokes found within the wallpaper designs, creating a harmonious and cohesive architectural narrative.
